What kind of service is Task Me?
Task Me is a platform designed to connect people who need help with various tasks (Taskmasters) with those who are willing to assist (Taskers). Whether you need help moving, someone to go to an event with, or a buddy to go out to drink, Task Me is here to bridge the gap.
One Account, Two Roles: Taskmaster and Tasker
With just one account, you can seamlessly switch between being a Taskmaster and a Tasker. Manage tasks and apply for them—all from the same profile!
How do Taskers get paid?
Taskers can apply for tasks and use the platform for free. Once a Tasker is chosen for a task, they get paid directly by the Taskmaster in cash. The payment terms, including the amount and payment method, are agreed upon between the Tasker and the Taskmaster. Task Me facilitates the connection but does not handle the payments directly.
How does Task Me ensure a safe environment?
Task Me is committed to creating a safe and trustworthy environment for all users. Our community of Taskers and Taskmasters is diverse, including both locals and foreigners in Japan. Every Tasker must create a profile and be approved by an admin before becoming active. On each profile, you can view task history and read reviews from other users to ensure you know who you're interacting with. Safety is our top priority, and we have implemented measures to maintain a secure platform, including profile verification and user reviews.
Do you do ID verification?
Yes, we offer optional ID verification for users. By submitting their ID, users can be verified for age, gender, and other details. Once verified, they will receive a special badge on their profile, indicating they can be trusted. If you are concerned about interacting with unknown individuals, you can choose to work with someone who has this verification badge. This helps create an additional layer of trust and security within the Task Me community.
What kind of requests can be made?
You can request help with a wide range of tasks, which are divided into types: Social, Errands and Chores, and Others.
Examples include:

Social: Companionship for events, going for a drink together, or attending a party.

Errands and Chores: Grocery shopping, moving assistance, or building projects.

Others: Guided tours or any unique requests you may have. If you need a helping hand, Task Me can connect you with someone who can assist.
